Programme Leader

Mr. Neil Pettitt

With an impressive 47 years of market experience, including over 38 years in the London Market and nearly a decade in Asia, Neil is a highly respected authority in marine cargo insurance. Before relocating to Asia, he managed business originating from the region that was placed in the London Market, giving him a strong foundation in both international and regional dynamics.

Neil has lectured extensively, including at Marsh UK’s Marine week Course (accredited by the Chartered Insurance Institute), Lloyd’s Academy, and Erasmus University. He has also spoken at global industry forums such as the Infrastructure/Power Conclave in India and delivered regular cargo presentations to clients across Asia. In recognition of his expertise, Neil contributed technical input to the Witherby publication “Insuring Cargoes – a Practical Guide to the Law and Practice”, where he is formally acknowledged in the preface.
