Why Good Underwriters Make Poor Decisions
Underwriting is often viewed as a technical discipline but decisions are shaped as much by human judgement as by data and expertise. Even experienced underwriters can fall into unconscious bias traps that affect risk selection and portfolio outcomes.
This 1-hour complimentary webinar introduces the behavioural drivers behind underwriting decisions, highlighting where and why judgement can go wrong. Participants will gain practical insights into recognising these pitfalls and improving consistency in their decision-making.
As a preview of a full customised programme, the session offers a glimpse into how behavioural insights can strengthen underwriting discipline and enhance overall performance.
