Speakers

Carmel Green specialises in insurance related dispute resolution with a particular focus on financial and professional lines, cyber and W&I. With over 15 years' experience in the region, she has extensive experience of dealing with and advising on policy coverage issues, and in litigating complex high value insurance and reinsurance disputes.

Carmel is regularly asked to act as monitoring counsel on behalf of insurers for claims around the world, as well as to draft, review and approve policy wordings across various lines of business for use across Asia.

Carmel has been individually recognised in Legal 500 Asia Pacific Insurance 2026 (Leading Partner) and Chambers Asia Pacific Insurance 2026 (Band 2).

She is qualified in England & Wales and Hong Kong.

Claire Schekeloff specialises in insurance-related disputes and advisory work.

Having worked in Sydney, London and Singapore, Claire has varied experience advising insurers on complex multi-party commercial disputes, financial lines claims (including D&O, Commercial Crime & Fidelity, Professional Indemnity, and Financial Institutional Professional Indemnity), class actions, and various commercial insurance/reinsurance claims (including monitoring and contested coverage disputes). Claire also assists insurers in reviewing, advising on and drafting policy wordings.

Claire is Australian qualified and has significant disputes experience, having acted on instructions from insurers and reinsurers in litigated matters at all levels of the Australian court system.
